AVer Angling at Enterprise Market

March 05, 2018

A successful video conference is a delicate dance of devices. From the microphones and audio equipment in place, to the collaboration software and video components, there are a lot of “moving parts,” and we still haven’t gotten to the agenda yet. Like the perfect storm, all pieces must work in unison to ensure each meeting goes off without a hitch.

Today, AVer Information announced new arrivals to its portfolio, with the AVer VB342 soundbar leading the charge. This marks the first major step toward its 2018 roadmap goal of supporting the enterprise with a complete suite of business-grade video hardware solutions.

The VB342 brings audio and video together to support meetings of up to seven participants. The modern workforce is in real-time, agile and thrives on open lines of communications. The next generation of conferencing solutions is at hand.

“The soundbar form factor really hits a sweet spot for huddle room video conferencing. It provides users with a very unobtrusive and comfortable meeting experience, while offering AV/IT teams an easily managed solution,” explains David Maldow, CEO and Lead Analyst at Let’s Do Video. “The AVer VB342 soundbar may be unique in offering motorized pan/tilt on its already wide FOV camera to cover almost any shaped meeting space.”

The cloud revolution is empowering the new portfolio priorities. Noting partnerships with cloud video collaboration provider Zoom to highlight what the modern meeting space looks like, AVer took initiative to embrace the trends taking place and offer a versatile set of solutions.

“The growing number of huddle room spaces calls for a unique USB peripheral that offers simple installation with a streamlined look, professional quality, and easy plug-and-play installation. AVer’s VB342 soundbar solves all of the above, and delivers powerful stereo sound, along with the widest camera coverage (180 degrees including the motorized pan/tilt) of any competing soundbar solution,” noted Eric Yu, Product Management Director of AVer Information Inc.

AVer VB342 soundbar features include:

  • 4K Ultra HD color
  • 94-degree wide-angle lens
  • 4x digital zoom and motorized pan-tilt
  • Three camera presets on remote
  • Two 10W full range speakers with professional bass port tuning optimized for communication
  • Two uni-directional microphones supporting pick up to 12 ft distance
  • Auto echo cancellation, noise suppression, gain and level control
  • Easy plug-and-play with a single USB 3.0 cable
  • Compatible with all your favorite applications, such as Zoom, BlueJeans, Skype, Google Hangouts, and many more.
