AVI-SPL Recognized as U.S. Partner of the Year

The nearly 7,000 Polycom (News - Alert) partner network members embrace and extend Polycom's open standards-based unified communications and collaboration solutions for voice and video collaboration, and AVI-SPL (News - Alert), which is part of this network, was named the ‘U.S. Partner of the Year.’

"Being recognized as Polycom's partner of the year for the U.S. reflects our commitment to delivering the highest-level of Polycom video communication solutions and our managed services platform," said John Zettel, CEO at AVI-SPL.

The well known video communications provider, honored for the successful deployment of complex unified communications solutions and its ability to evolve and keep pace with Polycom’s growth, received the award at TEAM Polycom 2013, the company's annual sales and partner conference, held in Vancouver, British Columbia, February 4-7, 2013.

The year 2012 was an exceptional one for AVI-SPL for it improved its business performance, increased year over year Polycom sales by 26 percent, grew its business in the federal market by 161 percent and focused on innovation to improve customer satisfaction.

Brian Mermon, partner alliance manager at AVI-SPL, Shai Moshe, national director of video solutions engineering and Mike Garvey, vice president of federal sales, who were at the helm during this period, have reason to be proud.

Being part of the Polycom partner network gives technology and service providers, integrators and other companies an opportunity to work with Polycom and each other to deliver customized solutions across a wide range of vertical industries.

AVI-SPL has reportedly been committed to building and maintaining strong partner relationships with top video communications manufacturers, and this has helped its sales and technical staff to keep abreast of the latest technology and provide great solutions to its clients.

Committed to being a truly global provider, AVI-SPL, a video communications partner, announced further international expansion with the opening of the new offices outside the U.S., including London, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.
