Easymeeting.net Announces Support for Microsoft Lync in its Cloud

In a bid to increase the consumer’s video conferencing experience, Easymeeting.net, a provider of Video Conferencing-as-a-Service (VCaaS) with Global Headquarters in Tromsø, Norway, has announced its support of Microsoft Lync for its conferencing product.

The company will use Microsoft Lync to build interoperability between different conferencing solutions from traditional video conferencing systems called end points, to smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs, as well as unified communications services like those from Microsoft.Easymeeting.net has realized the business potential of next-generation video conferencing solutions, so the company is investing in this technology and to maintain its strategy in making all conferencing solutions interoperable.Easymeeting.net now Lync enables any new or legacy H.323 endpoint for free by registering with the easymeeting.net cloud service.

"Easymeeting.net believes there should not be any additional costs in order to call another vendor or video client. This challenges all vendors to think alike and truly offer an open and easy method of communicating that will truly benefit customers of all sizes," said Evan J. Andriopoulos, CEO at easymeeting.net.

Raymond Sebergsen, product manager at easymeeting.net, said in a statement, “Many ask us why we invest in so heavily in offering free services like this, and the answer is easy as our services. Our mission is to make video conferencing easy, and it’s not easy when you have to invest in lots of additional of infrastructure for calling other video conferencing systems outside of your company.”

easyNumber is a free gatekeeper service by easymeeting.net, which helps users to dial between registered video conferencing endpoints. By registering your video end point with easymeeting.net, each customer also receives free access to a boarder controller, enabling DNS URI dialing and SIP support for your endpoint though a free gateway.
