UCi2i and Verrex (News - Alert) are partnering up, providing a complete video conferencing network and video end-point management service. Together, they’re combining Verrex’s conferencing, collaboration and presentation technologies with UCi2i’s video managed services into a service that fits the needs of many businesses.

Verrex will now offer Virtual Meeting Rooms on a subscription basis, supported by UCi2i. Included are point-to-point video communication services for one’s desktop, as well as telepresence and meeting rooms.

There’s private dialing for either business-to-business or business-to-consumer calls as well, with monitoring and support, plus concierge services for conferencing.

All of the services are supported globally, offered over a secure network and from the cloud. As such, consumers and businesses worldwide can access the services they offer, as long as they have an Internet connection.

"UCi2i deliver services through channel only with the sole focus of making video the new voice," said Jim Rowland, managing director of APAC at UCi2i. "I’m delighted to have partnered with Verrex who share the same focus on customer service and dedication to quality as UCi2i. Together we are able to complement each other and deliver true, seamless, one-stop-shop solutions in visual collaboration.”

While there are plenty of video conferencing managed services out there, this one provides a nice variety of tools and features that many businesses may need. If your business doesn’t have video yet, now is as good a time to start as any, and this is a good one to try.
