InterCall Announces a New Online Community for Small Business Leaders

InterCall, a provider of conferencing and collaboration services, has announced the launch of a new online community for small business leaders.


Organized into various sections, the new free community enables small business leaders to meet their target influencers. Also, they can attend webcasts as well as take advantage of exclusive offers from prominent brand companies and other small businesses.

In addition to view job listing and participate in live discussions, the Networking Café also allows visitors to chat and network with partners and explore current promotions and offers. Company officials said that the InterChange Resource Center houses whitepapers, presentations, videos and also other collateral that visitors can put into a virtual briefcase for later viewing.

Calling InterChange the intersection of commerce and collaboration, Kathleen Finato, senior vice president of marketing and business development at InterCall, said that it provides small business leaders a cost-effective and easy way to enhance their lead-generation efforts.

The site connects prospective customers, potential investors and decision makers in one location, Finato said, adding that InterChange also features collaboration and meeting technologies from InterCall to help drive business success.

The community is free to participate. However, businesses can design a “storefront” in the Small Business Marketplace for a small investment. Company officials said that they can showcase products and services via uploaded videos, collateral and presentations.

Moreover, businesses can also communicate one-on-one with visitors in real-time. Plus, they can highlight special offers, access lead information for anyone who comes to their booths, and direct attendees to their websites and social media sites.

Last month, InterCall deployed MORE’s MoreVRP data performance optimization software so that its hosted online virtual events have optimal QoS.
