June 30, 2011

Intercall, a conferencing and collaboration services provider, and Microsoft have collaborated to develop a solution that integrates Intercall Reservationless-Plus audio conferencing platform with Microsoft Lync Online.

In a release Bob Wise, executive vice president of Unified Communications Services, InterCall said, “We’re proud to include audio integration to Microsoft Lync Online in our growing portfolio of collaboration and conferencing solutions.’

“We are also excited to offer expert training and end-to-end migration services along with superior 24/7 global support by certified agents for customers moving to Office 365,” Wise added.

It was revealed that Lync Online will be provided in Office 365, Microsoft’s next-generation cloud communications service. InterCall is a Microsoft Silver Certified Partner and national systems integrator (NSI) and it offers integrated audio conferencing with Lync.

The InterCall audio-conferencing solution for Microsoft Lync Online enables call scheduling via Microsoft Outlook and the ability for meeting participants to join from external locations via multiple devices. It provides dial in/out; in-call support; mute/unmute; lock/unlock and end conference capabilities.

It also allows VoIP/PSTN integration, including combined recording of Lync and InterCall audio participants, added officials.

In its capacity as a reseller of Microsoft Office 365, InterCall announced that it will provide tier one and two support to its customers using a dedicated Office 365 team. Pre-sale technical assistance, consultations, implementation, administrator and end-user support will be provided besides training, adoption and migration services.

Officials added that InterCall Training and Adoption Services enable the smooth deployment of Office 365 and helps accelerate acceptance of new applications. The InterCall package for Office 365 encompasses recorded training sessions for each of the products in the suite.

InterCall will offer free, live online training sessions. Advanced training and adoption services will include on-demand recorded sessions, pre-packaged live virtual trainings and customizable training and adoption services. Professional Migration Services include transition of operations and data besides configuration and support from legacy applications to Office 365 solutions, according to sources.

TMCnet reported that InterCall has become an authorized Cisco WebEx partner for delivery of online collaboration solutions in India.
