RingCentral Making Meetings Seamless
Cloud communications are creating a flurry of disruption in the collaboration space. Today’s software-defined times dictate the demand for a seamless experience via single application. Sure, being tab-happy in one’s browser is one thing, but when in the midst of working within the framework of a team all tools must be there at the click of your mouse.
RingCentral intends to deliver on cloud hype with the release of RingCentral Meetings, a next-generation solution offering integrated task management, team messaging, video conferencing, online meetings and screen-sharing in the form of one solution.
“RingCentral continues to revolutionize collaborative communications with the introduction of our next-generation RingCentral Meetings solution,” noted Kira Makagon, EVP of Innovation at RingCentral. “RingCentral Meetings works the way people do. They can connect and collaborate, exchange ideas and creativity before, during, and after the meetings, no matter where they are or what time it is.”
The solution promises HD video conferencing, screen sharing, smooth transitions between channels, file sharing and task management as well as RingCentral Glip team messaging. From the IT perspective, it offers a single solution, which reduces complexity and the need for oversight. In addition, it is accessible across any device, and scalable globally.
Frost & Sullivan puts a lot of faith in the video conferencing market, with forecasts placing value at nearly $12 billion by 2021 – owing much of the growth to the cloud, and a growing user base.
“User demand for web meetings and team collaboration solutions is booming, and it’s a smart move by RingCentral to combine the two capabilities for increased user productivity,” said Roopam Jain, Industry Director of Collaboration Technologies at Frost & Sullivan. “With this, RingCentral is providing a differentiated stand-alone web meetings solution that can easily expand into their flagship RingCentral Office cloud communications and collaboration solution.”
The cloud era is ushering in a rise of collaborative communications, bringing a new day to the exchange of ideas and new tools to empower productivity.
