New Zealand Government to Leverage CCI Conferencing Services
New Zealand government agencies have tapped Conference Call International to provide them with conferencing services.
This award was made as part of the government’s Telecommunications as a Service effort. The TaaS program is managed by the Department of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
“TaaS addresses a growing need to provide a broad range of telecommunication and managed security services that better support the achievement of the Government ICT Strategy and Action Plan to 2017 and Government’s Better Public Service Results 9 and 10,” New Zealand Government explains. “TaaS will provide the foundational services required to achieve these objectives by simplifying and improving network connectivity between agencies, and providing new services to better manage security risks.”
As for Conference Call International, it’s a subsidiary of the MNF Group. It provides audio, web, and operator-assisted conferencing services. And its portfolio includes encrypted call conferencing to prevent unauthorized parties to listen in on these communications.
MNF Group acquired Conference Call International, the largest independent conferencing and collaboration provider in Australia, a year ago this month. Since then, MNF Group has invested $1.5 million in CCI’s infrastructure.

For the first time via the TaaS initiative, New Zealand’s government agencies will have the opportunity to benefit from our reliable, high-quality secure audio and web conferencing products and services.”
