The Conferencing Zone Week in Review: Gartner, Sunrise, and More

With Gartner unveiling its latest Magic Quadrant and Sunrise Communications heading to Switzerland, The Conferencing Zone saw a lot of excitement this week. And, now is the perfect time for a week in review so you can catch up on anything you may have missed.

Sunrise Communications is bringing Spectralink Corp.’s DECT and voice over Wi-Fi solutions to enterprises in Switzerland. It touts 3 million customers, and sells digital TV, internet access, landline, and mobile services. Purdue University is upgrading its distance learning center with ClearOne technology. OmniJoin, Brother International’s web conferencing division, announced the launch of OmniJoin for Healthcare. A telehealth platform, it offers remote patient-doctor interactions, web/videoconferencing for clinical training, consultations, and managerial meetings.
