Conferencing Zone Week in Review: WolfVision, Yamaha, Revolabs
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the Conferencing Zone this week.
The week started off with a look at how conferencing solutions can be used to bridge the gap between a country’s government and its citizens. Ecosmob Technologies Limited, a VoIP and mobile app development service provider, recently announced that it will be providing quality video conferencing solutions to the government sector. A senior technology executive at Ecosmob told MENAFN.com, “For any government body, communication is a fundamental requirement. Be it an electoral propaganda or any inter-departmental exchange of ideas; the government’s every move is guided by effective and efficient communication.” Find out more HERE.
Next up, WolfVision introduced new vSolution Cynap options this week. vSolution Cynap users now have the option of adding access to Office 365 apps such as Skype for Business, and they can support streaming and webcasting. Meanwhile, a new Learning Management System feature pack enables Cynap content to be uploaded to popular LMS systems, as TMC’s Paula Bernier points out in her article HERE.
Yamaha also had some exciting news this week. The company announced that its YVC-1000MS has passed Skype for Business' stringent Certification Version 3 tests. The Yamaha YVC-1000MS, which is a USB speakerphone solution designed to enhance the Skype for Business meeting user experience, will be available in October 2017. Find out what you have to look forward to HERE.
Finally, the week rounded out with the news that Revolabs has partnered with Julian Treasure, a well known TED speaker, author and chairman of The Sound Agency, to produce an eight part series, titled “Academy of Communication.” The goal of this series is to help both individuals and businesses understand the effect that sound and audio can have on corporate communications.
