Conferencing Zone Week in Review: PGi, Revolabs, Yamaha & More
Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in the Conferencing Zone this week.
The week started off with the news that PGi is launching a new product and service offerings to maximize Skype for Business’ investment potential and drive enterprise productivity. According to Michael Guta, “The new offering was designed in collaboration with IT teams for solutions that will maximize Skype for Business investments to drive enterprise efficiencies by focusing in key areas of how organizations use collaborative solutions today.” Find out more about the reasoning behind this move HERE.
Revolabs also made headlines this week with its latest webinar. The webinar, co-hosted with Yamaha, will take place on May 23 at 10:00 a.m. EST. The pair is planning to discuss the issue of using conferencing technology in small spaces. As the duo points out, “The meeting space is continuously evolving to include smaller, ad hoc collaborations. Technologies in these spaces also need to evolve in order to create natural, productive meeting experiences. Thus, equipping small rooms and huddle spaces with the right solutions is essential but it can also bring its own challenges.” You can find more information and register HERE.
Revolabs was also recognized this week for its Dean’s List Program, which is a version of its video conferencing solution that is aimed specifically at educators to allow them to host virtual lectures from anywhere in the world. There are a number of positives associated with using video conferencing within the classroom, and Revolabs is determined to see those benefits through. Find out more HERE.
Finally, the week rounded out with the news that HuddleCamHD has simplified video conferencing so businesses of almost any size can deploy a system in small, medium or large rooms with single or multiple cameras for different types of configuration.
