Revolabs Brings in New VP of Sales
The UC market seems to be growing by the minute, and one important factor of that growth is the popularity of conferencing. However, as conferencing becomes more and more important to the success of business operations, especially due to the continued growth of the mobile workforce, competitors with new and improved conferencing solutions keep popping up. As a consumer, it can be difficult to determine which solution will benefit your business the most. That’s why it’s so important for conferencing companies to have reliable, expert salespeople on their team.
Revolabs, Inc. recently added a new member to its sales team. Michael Fitch joins the company as its new vice president of sales for the Americas. In his new role, Fitch will focus on expanding the company’s reach and presence in the UC market.
It only takes a quick look at Fitch’s resume to realize why Revolabs chose him for this important job. In his most recent position, he spent almost five years with West Corp, as part of its UC services division. There, he had a successful tenure where he held four roles of varying responsibilities in different regions of the U.S. One of those four was the New England sales team, which was responsible for selling the company’s entire UC portfolio. So, clearly Fitch has more than enough UC sales experience just from his time at West alone.
Fitch’s sales experience expands past his time at West, though. In fact, he successfully co-founded a start-up venture and acted as head of sales—which is impressive in itself. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship and a small business management degree from Quinnipiac University.
Fitch is, without a doubt, more than qualified for his new role at Revolabs. The company is excited to have him join the team, with JP Carney, CEO of Revolabs, saying, “Mike is an established professional in the UC space, making him a natural fit for the Revolabs family…His experience and instinct for sales will be great assets as we grow our North American sales organization as part of Yamaha's UC strategy. Mike has an entrepreneurial background which will be very important in evolving and growing our sales team to match the rapid growth and change of the UC market.”
Hopefully Fitch’s expertise will be able to help Revolabs stand out from the increasingly populated video conferencing competition.
