FreeConferenceCall Enters 2015 with New Solution and High Expectations
Started in 2001, FreeConferenceCall.com has been in the conference for 15 years, and in that time has made a name for itself as an innovative, reliable, high-quality and cost-friendly conference call service.
“We’ve had time to create a product that can be used by anyone because it’s so darn simple” VP Channel Development Adam Jacobs of StartMeeting told TMC’s Group Editorial Director Erik Linask at the recent ITEXPO.
FreeConferenceCall.com saw over 12 billion minutes of traffic in 2014, which makes up about 12 percent of the global conferencing market and is on pace to raise the bar again in 2015. Jacobs notes, “Our growth has been over 50 percent this last year and we’re on target to do even more than that in 2015.”
With over four million users ranging from fortune 500 companies, Mom & Pop sole proprietors, family reunions and even one-to-one calls for the ease of the service’s recording feature.
While all signs point to positive, customers want more from the provider. Jacobs noted the desire from customers for more premium services such as having VoIP users join a meeting, greater security, special greetings and custom hold music.
FreeConferenceCall.com has answered customer demand with StartMeeting.com, a premium service and enterprise solution that offers users a slew of tools, features and services.
Aside from StartMeeting, Jacobs discussed the service provider’s channel partner opportunities stating, “There’s an old saying out there: ‘If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.’” He continues, “and the fact that we’re growing at such a fast rate, we see people really looking at us and saying these guys know what they’re doing, they have the largest proprietary international network on high definition bridges,” and based on this, Jacob’s sees opportunity to grow ‘together’ moving forward.
“Being in the game for 15 years says a lot about who we are and what we’ve accomplished. We’ve been able to weather the storm and compete against AT&T and that type of competition,” one of the reasons for its success is the firm’s network, which Jacobs proclaims to be “the highest quality network out there.”
With its 87 percent retention rate, FreeConferenceCall.com’s success should be no surprise.
