Zoom, the cloud meeting company, has introduced ZoomPresence, the easiest and most affordable way to transform your conference room into a video and collaboration space.

ZoomPresence is a solution that fits in any conference room - small with one HD screen, medium with two HD screens, or large with three HD screens. It allows users to collaborate by sharing desktop and mobile content over Wi-Fi or by direct HDMI connection.

ZoomPresence runs on Mac mini with touchscreen functionality, and offers innovations like easy setup, integration with Google (News - Alert), Outlook calendar, flexible meetings, and content sharing. It can even be used with iPad for room control

This innovative solution is based on non-proprietary hardware from Apple (News - Alert) that anyone can buy. Also, the ZoomPresence kit list has already been tested with several manufactures to gage the compatibility level.

This is an all-in-one solution that enables participants to join from their desktops, laptops, mobile devices, telephones, traditional room systems and other ZoomPresence systems.

Nick Chong, head of marketing at said that ZoomPresence is created with the Apple (MacOS and iOS) experience in mind - simple and powerful and with one tap users can start a 100-person video meeting

“There is another little secret to the ZoomPresence room kit which I highly doubt will be advertised: You can still use it with other platforms like Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync, Cisco WebEx, Citrix GotoMeeting, etc. Do you still need traditional H.323/SIP systems to join a meeting? has this covered with their Cloud Connector service,” Chong added.

Starting this week, the long awaited ZoomPresence will be officially available, said Telepresence Options.

ZoomPresence is available with price tag (News - Alert) of $999 and promises to save more than 90 percent over traditional room systems. Zoom's annual subscription fee of $99 is the most affordable on the market.
