IOCOM recently announced that its 2013 preferred partner program is now open to solution integrators, resellers, and other partners. Applicants will be provided with access to the company’s direct sales support and in-depth training and online resources, as well as an array of discounts and co-branded marketing avenues.

IOCOM are specialists in universal video conferencing and collaboration software solutions. In a statement, Dan Marchetto, VP of Business Development, said that, "In a market that's filled with increasing competition due to saturated incumbent channel programs, shrinking margins, and slowing hardware sales, business partners are turning to IOCOM to build residual revenue streams by selling software based video conferencing solutions with the compatibility that others do not provide. We are at an inflection point with the focus on software-based solutions with options for cloud access and delivery and IOCOM with Visimeet has the superior solution bar none."

The preferred partner program has been designed to enable the company’s partners to provide customers with advanced HD video conferencing solutions that are compatible with all device types irrespective of its location. These solutions, which will be provided by IOCOM on-premise or in the cloud, can work on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices and have been designed to be compatible with a number of hardware providers such as Polycom, Cisco (News - Alert) and others.

IOCOM solutions, which are ubiquitous, software-based, and cloud delivered, have also been developed to incorporate the BYOD (bring your own device) model. The solutions, which can function over any network and easily run over Windows, Mac, and Linux systems and iOS and Android (News - Alert) devices, are delivered over the Visimeet platform. Designed to ensure robust connectivity, the Visimeet platform supports video, audio, and data conferencing and allows the transfer of files, as well as sharing and viewing of data in real time.
