Xantech Offers Improved Conferencing to Eastern Suffolk BOCES

The implementation team from Symbrant Technologies recently installed a number of Xantech solutions for the Eastern Suffolk BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services). The expert team at Symbrant has incorporated Xantech offerings into the four conference rooms of the Eastern Suffolk BOCES building, making it possible to organize meetings of all sizes. The incorporated Xantech solutions, which are administered by a grouping of five Xantech CSPLCD64G touch panels and five Xantech WIC1200 Web Intelligent Controllers, offer numerous configurations of the rooms and also facilitate projection capabilities.

The Eastern Suffolk BOCES required an incorporated system that would permit four distinct side-by-side conference rooms to function in numerous diverse configurations. Any permutation of the four rooms is facilitated by Symbrant’s incorporated offering apart from facilitating separate conference rooms. The staff at BOCES can now manage the room configurations in a simplified manner with the Xantech WIC1200. The system can also be administered easily with the latest Xantech webpage of the system.

A projector capable of display content from seven different inputs like a Blu-ray player, cable box and Apple (News - Alert) TV plus VGA, HDMI, component and composite wall inputs is available in all the rooms. A microphone setup, eight in-ceiling speakers and a Kramer scaler for video switching are also present in all the rooms.

In a statement, Keith Dalia of Symbrant said, "The WIC1200 makes it extremely easy to configure the conference rooms in any arrangement that is needed. The system can also be controlled by an iPad, and with the CSPLCD touch panels the projectors can be used to show content from the Blu-ray player or Apple TV, making it very easy to deliver presentations that require video."

The system, which includes an EnGenius WAP for Wi-Fi, ensures display of all content on the projectors with a single click. Apart from meetings regarding BOCES, the latest restricted conference rooms are crucial for local businesses, which lease out conference rooms in the building for staff meetings or customer presentations.

Dalia said, "I've been integrating Xantech-controlled systems for the last 6 years, and they have always been incredibly helpful. Xantech is always available to offer service and support and their help is reflected in the end result."
