Jenne Provides Training on Avaya Video Portfolio
As videoconferencing technology continues to gain prominence, companies such as Avaya are offering advanced unified communications (UC) solutions, which help users better explore the benefits of advanced videoconferencing technology. Using these unified communications solutions, however, naturally requires some knowledge about the product.
This is where Jenne, a leading distributor of business telephony, data, audio and video conferencing and security technology products comes into play. The company has revealed that it is now offering complete training on the Avaya video portfolio, where it will offer a course on the Avaya Scopia solution.
Jenne University officially announced "Avaya Scopia Solution for Video Communications" at its training facilities in Avon, OH. With the first session scheduled for January 21-25, 2013, the class will take place on a quarterly basis.
Avaya’s Radvision Scopia XT systems make use of the advanced video communications technology, consisting of dual 1080p/60fps video channels, H.264 high profile for bandwidth efficiency, H.264 scalable video coding for error resiliency and Apple iPad device control. These video conferencing technologies make use of years of experience in creating IP-based conferencing solutions from the scratch.

In other news, the company was recently named veteran business development professional Ryan Jozwiak as its services business development manager, who will look to improve the growth of Jenne's services in this newly created post. In his new position, Jozwiak will make use of the customer and channel programs and tools such as the Renewal Portal. Furthermore, he offered training to Avaya resellers about using this tool ultimately helping them take advantage of possible annuities.
