LifeSize Partners with Ingram Micro

LifeSize, a division of Logitech (News - Alert), recently announced that Ingram Micro, a wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain services, will be the distributor of its high-definition (HD) video collaboration products and solutions in India.

Ingram Micro (News - Alert) operates in 34 countries with approximately 15,000 associates worldwide, with revenue of more than $35 billion. Ingram Micro's global regions provide the distribution of technology products and services, market development services and supply chain management services to nearly 170,000 technology solution providers and 1,400 manufacturers.

LifeSize (News - Alert) has been witnessing a rapid growth in the adoption of its high definition video collaboration solutions across markets in India,” said Deepak Braganza, country manager for LifeSize India and South Asia. “As one of the world’s largest wholesale technology distributors and a global leader in IT supply-chain, Ingram Micro will help us leverage its extensive reach and strong capabilities to strengthen our presence in India.” “We are delighted to be associated with LifeSize as a National Technology Distributor for India,” said Jaishankar Krishnan, managing director for Ingram Micro India Limited. “This partnership with LifeSize will help us to grow our product portfolio and tap the growing market for video collaboration solutions in the region.”

LifeSize offers video conferencing systems and software applications, as well as a full line of video infrastructure, available on-premises or in the cloud, for universal video collaboration.

With LifeSize, customers can participate in large multi-party HD calls, live streaming and recording, collaboration on any mobile device, on any network.

Recently, LifeSize added two new members to its Unity Series – LifeSize Unity 1000 and LifeSize Unity 2000. The newly added all-in-one systems successfully combine HD video and audio with a sleek display, and make it easier to purchase, deploy and use in work environments.

They come with the touch-based LifeSize Phone (News - Alert) for intuitive control over video conferencing, audio-only calls or presentations.
