Arkadin (News - Alert), a collaboration service provider, has moved its North American headquarters from New York, NY to Atlanta, GA. This subsidiary of Paris-based Arkadin is expected to expand its market for collaboration and unified communications (UC) services across the U.S. and Canada.

A collaboration services provider, Arkadin provides a complete range of remote audio, Web and video conferencing and UC solutions, most delivered as SaaS (News - Alert)-based models offering fast, scalable deployments and high ROI.

Mark Alexander, president of Arkadin North America, said, “Our full suite of best-in-class collaboration services and global service delivery platform is fueling our leading growth among global collaboration service providers. The new headquarters provides an ideal platform for capitalizing on this momentum, and for continuing the exceptional service that enables our clients’ success.”

Atlanta will serve the needs of the new Arkadin office and enable long-term growth. The new headquarters will be located in the Queen Building, 5 Concourse Parkway in the Perimeter Center Business District in Atlanta.

“Atlanta has a sizable talent pool to support our needs in all areas of our business, and its proximity to the largest airport in the U.S. is ideal for conducting business throughout North America,” added Alexander.

Arkadin will reportedly not close its New York office, but use it as a main regional hub for marketing, sales and operations to serve the Northeast. The company’s global network, comprising 51 operating centers in 30 countries, employs dedicated local-language support teams to service its nearly 26,000 customers.

Arkadin recently launched the next generation of Arkadin Anywhere in order to accelerate the adoption of Web conferencing. Simplicity and ergonomic enjoyment – and integration with Arkadin Anytime’s premium audio – provide a new and truly improved collaboration experience.

The new configuration for Arkadin Anywhere was designed by ergonomic specialists, allowing for comfort and immediate access to the most commonly used functions. Users can access a streamlined conference screen with a single click, gaining access to features such as quick share buttons, instant invitations, a moderator console, and more.
