G2J, a wholesaler of cloud videoconferencing and telepresence management solutions, has entered into a partnership with Masergy, a global source of managed, network and cloud communication services, to provide enterprise customers a global video network platform with QoS, and unparalleled global connectivity.

"We needed a strong partner that would deliver real quality of service for our cloud video solutions, so technical expertise and a proven infrastructure were an essential requirement," Geoffrey Vande Weerdt, head of the Americas & global alliances at G2J, said in a statement.

"When our customers are expecting G2J to deliver the best quality for their visual communications, there’s no room for error. We have to provide high performance, high availability and resilience, hence our decision to partner with Masergy as our preferred global networking partner," he added.

With a global channel partner base in North America, Europe, Caribbean & AsiaPac, G2J resellers and their customers have a critical need for a high-performance global video network that offers fully secure and reliable connectivity.

Company officials pointed out that all of its videoconferencing managed solutions have to be available 24/7 with the highest QoS.

Masergy’s global network services are specifically tailored to support the strict performance and security requirements of global organizations for video communications.

Back in November, Masergy Communications, Inc. had announced that Telarus Inc., a national distributor of commercial voice and data services, has joined the Masergy Global Partner Program, and will provide Masergy's portfolio of advanced MPLS/VPLS and global cloud communications products to global enterprises.

The new agreement opens the door for 1,250 independent agencies that source through Telarus (News - Alert) to pre-qualify, recommend and sell Masergy’s solutions to their business clientele.

Masergy, who recently launched its Global Cloud Communications service in September, will provide Telarus partners with a hybrid solution that combines elements from Masergy’s Intelligent SIP Trunking and Hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) products to form a unique, simplified cloud communications migration and deployment plan for each client.
