Voxeet Releases Android and iPhone Conferencing Apps

By Robbie Pleasant
TMCnet Contributor has a present for Android and iPhone (News - Alert) users: new apps that bring innovative and easy conference calling to smartphone platforms. With the Voxeet apps, participants can switch between devices without interrupting the call, while participating in its immersive conference calls.

Voxeet’s Natural Conferencing Technology provides clear and convenient conference calling, eliminating background noise and making the voices crystal clear. When multiple people talk at the same time, it doesn’t result in painful overlapping and voices getting cut out, but the speaker recognition and immersive 3D sound provide audio and visual indications of who is speaking when.

Should one need to speak to someone privately, there’s a whispering mode for one-on-one conversations that don’t interrupt the conference. The one-click transfer lets users transfer calls between smartphones, PCs and tablets without interrupting the call, and with Facebook and phonebook integration, inviting participants is simpler than ever.

Users can download Voxeet for Android from Google (News - Alert) Play, and for iPhone from the App Store.

"Our new Android and iPhone apps provide the ultimate in conferencing freedom -- you no longer have to hang up and redial when you're on the go," said Stephane Giraudie, Voxeet founder and CEO. "The whole idea of Natural Conferencing is to allow participants from multiple locations to forget about the call and focus on the conversation. Now you don't even have to be at a fixed location to join the flow."

Given how frustrating and choppy conference calls can still be, the Natural Conferencing technology boasted by Voxeet sounds like a great improvement. For all the uses of conference calls, they can still be a pain, so anything helps, and Voxeet is doing more than just anything. Android (News - Alert) and iPhone users who have to deal with conference calls frequently should give it a shot and see how much conferencing improves.
