ViewSonic's New Webcam is a Winner

ViewSonic Corp has taken video up another level, with its latest webcam with integrated high-performance display. The new VG2437mc-LED features a webcam with MIC and speakers in a single design, providing clear video performance and maximum productivity.

This webcam is made for office applications, video conferencing, and executive offices and boardrooms, providing an ergonomic design and a full HD 1920x1080 LED panel and 20M:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It can connect via Displayport, DVI and VGA, with an integrated 2-port USB hub for transferring files or attaching peripherals.

For those who use programs like Skype, Google (News - Alert) Talk and MSN, the webcam is a great choice for seamless communication across desktops, tablets and smartphones. Windows 8 users will be pleased to know it’s partnered with Windows 8 certification, and all customers will appreciate the three-year warranty and its pixel performance policy.

While the starting price is $329, it still provides a low total cost of ownership, thanks to its eco-friendly LED panel and Energy Star certification. This means it’s less of a drain on power, helping save both costs and the environment.

According to Erik Willey, ViewSonic’s LCD monitor and PC product marketing director, "There are several monitors to choose from in the market offering integrated webcam functionality. However, none offer the overall performance and features required in a business environment. Paired with advanced ergonomics and connectivity, this display is perfect for anyone looking for an integrated webcam display solution."

The VG2437mc-LED will be available in North and Latin America by the middle of December. It boasts some impressive specs, which will certainly provide a great video experience.

Whether it’s for an important business meeting or just having a video chat with friends and family, it’s a great choice for those looking for crystal clear video from their webcam.
