ClearOne and Ingram Micro Sign Distribution Contract

ClearOne and Ingram Micro (News - Alert) Inc recently announced that they have signed a distribution contract, wherein ClearOne's latest series of software-based video conferencing offerings will be distributed by Ingram Micro in the U.S. As part of the distribution agreement, Ingram Micro will also be responsible for distributing the USB, analog and VoIP conference phones from ClearOne (News - Alert) to approved technology resellers in the U.S.


In a statement, Chris Wildfoerster, VP of Sales Unified Communications (News - Alert) at ClearOne said, "As the IT/AV industries continue to converge, Ingram Micro is well positioned to help us identify new business opportunities and drive greater growth within the U.S. reseller community. Ingram Micro is a single-source distributor that offers channel partners access to a complete suite of complementary solutions and services, as well as expertise and reach within vertical markets. Together with Ingram Micro, we will expand market awareness and sales of ClearOne video and audio solutions into new channels."

The latest COLLABORATE software-based video conferencing offerings from ClearOne combine the best-in-class audio and the latest revolutionary video technology. These all-inclusive, audio-visual collaboration offerings are therefore ideal for desktop applications, room systems, infrastructure and administration. The CHAT and MAX series from ClearOne are ideal for voice. These series offer a complete portfolio of applications right from the latest, personal USB headphones; to moveable, USB-powered personal conferencing; and analog and VoIP tabletop offerings. All these applications have been developed using ClearOne's proprietary superior audio processing.
