Conferencing Services Provider Fontel Appoints Sam Romanagno as Manager, Account Development

Fontel (News - Alert) Inc., a specialty distributor of voice, video, and data communication and conferencing solutions, has recently hired Sam Romanagno to join the Fontel account development team as Account Development Manager.

With many years of experience in the communications industry, Fontel is made up of a staff that strives to understand customer needs, and support them the best possibly way. Experiencing the constantly changing and evolving advancements in technology, Fontel understands the importance of offering innovative solutions to carry customers into the future. From the newest Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) Technology to Bandwidth Management Technology, to the latest in High Definition Video and Sound Technology, Fontel's specialized Account Development team provides the answers and the solutions.

"Fontel is excited to have Sam join the Fontel family,” said Kurt Mitchell, president, Fontel, in a statement. "He will be an exceptional addition to our account development team."

Romanagno brings 22 years of experience in product distribution to Fontel along with 13 years of group management at Communitech and Konftel (News - Alert).  While at Communitech, he was in charge of the reseller channel that created significant growth. In May 2005, Romanagno joined Konftel, a manufacturer of conferencing devices, and spent six years developing Konftel's distribution and reseller channel across North America.

"I enjoy working with the reseller channel and helping them succeed in sales of new product lines and improve sales of already existing lines they sell," said Romanagno.

In 1993, Fontel became a Nebraska Corporation as a Specialty Wholesale Distributor of voice and data communication equipment. Over the years, the company has experienced consistent growth by meeting the channel to market needs of the manufacturers as well as customer needs.
