CrowdCall Surpasses Million Calls Every Month

International conference calls for a maximum of 20 people can be set up by iOS and Android (News - Alert) users at no extra cost with CrowdCall, eliminating the requirement of dial-in or pin numbers.

CrowdCall, which can handle a minimum of million calls each month, now includes calendar incorporation, audio controls, participant administration, recording and archiving.

“Mobile devices are becoming the standard for business communication, and that means conference call hosts are increasingly initiating calls from mobile devices,” said Randy Adams, CEO at Socialdial. “Despite the fact that this is a multibillion-dollar market, nobody [else] is innovating in the mobile conferencing space.”

Since its launch in March 2012, the number of calls managed by CrowdCall has doubled each month. A minimum of 50,000 calls every day and a minimum of 10 million minutes of conferencing every month are currently supported by CrowdCall.

Apart from scheduling conference calls with individuals from 40 countries, CrowdCall users can put calls on hold when required for free, with no additional long distance or line charges. In order to set up a call, users are only required to download the app or visit the CrowdCall website.

Individuals participating in the conference call do not need to install the CrowdCall app. They will receive a text messaging providing details of the call and a call from CrowdCall, which will allow them to join the conference.

Relative to Skype (News - Alert) and other VoIP services, CrowdCall offers better audio quality as the calls are connected via normal mobile carriers.

Both releases of CrowdCall, on the Internet and the mobile app, consist of domestic calendar incorporation, recording and archiving, muting, ear muffing, on-the-fly attendee inclusion and participant dismissal.

Users see 500 minutes each month for calling 40 countries at no extra cost.

CrowdCall also offers numerous other novel plans for extended calling.
