The Virtual Show from ON24 provides interesting and interactive virtual conferences and events for applications that range from sales facilitation to customer communications to demand generation programs. Global viewers now have the opportunity to learn from keynote webcasts, research solutions, interact with exhibitors and network with their peers, without ever leaving their desks.

Looking to make its position stronger in the market, the company recently acquired IMASTE, a provider of virtual events in Europe. ON24 is looking to enhance its growth and presence in Europe and Latin America, which is expected to improve the company's position as the worldwide virtual events market leader with its first acquisition.

Led by an accomplished management team, IMASTE delivers virtual events products and services to a variety of leading global companies, including Deloitte, Accenture, The Economist, British Council, Top Language Jobs, Renault and Monster.com.

On24’s Virtual Show is built on ON24’s Platform 10 architecture that lets ON24 (and third-party developers) develop application-specific widgets, which consists of social networking, training and enterprise communications, the company stated in a press release.

“We have the utmost respect for IMASTE's leadership and organization," said ON24 CEO Sharat Sharan. "IMASTE's market expertise and strong European presence complement ON24's current London operations perfectly. Our Fortune 1000 clients will benefit from the stronger local support made possible by our acquisition of an EMEA powerhouse. In addition, this merger further consolidates ON24's lead in the global marketplace and provides IMASTE customers with access to ON24's world-class virtual communications solutions.”

Recently, BT partnered with ON24 to Resell ON24's Platform 10 Virtual Communications Solutions. As per the agreement, BT Conferencing will resell its entire suite of virtual communications solutions, including its Platform 10 webcasting product, delivered as both self-service and fully managed offerings. BT selected ON24's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for its reliability, scalability, global reach and security.
