Arkadin Unveils New Cloud Collaboration Platform for Global Conferencing

Helping customers to easily manage their global conferencing needs more efficiently and with greater return on investment, Arkadin has announced the launch of the Arkadin Cloud Collaboration Platform.

Intelligent call routing on a single bridge is the core element in a platform architecture. Organizations are provided a single list of country access numbers for use by all of their employees, regardless of their location or the location of their conferences.  

Depending on the nature and location of the conference, all calls are routed to the most appropriate conference bridge. Connecting via an IP link that can delay audio transmission, this single-bridge strategy differs from traditional approaches which host international conferences on several bridges, the company stated in a press release.

Ensuring superior audio quality and reliability, the Arkadin Cloud Collaboration Platform ensures that there is no risk of audio degradation. Resulting in greater user adoption and scale, a single list of access numbers makes it extremely simple for administrators to deploy and manage. With each component backed up and duplicated by design to maintain data integrity, all voice data is transported through Arkadin's private IP network.

Recently, the company included Cisco Jabber within its UC offering as a core component of the product. It will allow the clients of Arkadin to integrate their UC solution with a number of collaboration tools within a single user interface.

These tools include presence, instant messaging, desktop sharing, and audio, web and video conferencing. Cisco Jabber is a solution that lets the workforce of an enterprise connect with their business contacts and collaborate with them.
