ConferencePlus Launches ConferencePlus Online Meeting for Businesses of All Sizes



Conference Plus, Inc., a subsidiary of Westell Technologies (News - Alert), Inc. and a leading provider of global conferencing solutions, announced the launch of web based conference platform called ConferencePlus (News - Alert) Online Meeting.

In a press release, Conference Plus announced that the new web conferencing platform is designed to help businesses meet their daily online collaboration needs. The company said that the new platform is designed to suit the needs of for businesses of all sizes.

Leveraging the power of Adobe (News - Alert) Flash, Online Meeting service can simplify web collaboration for all levels of users, the company claimed in the release. The service comes sans a long time agreement, thus allowing customers to choose from a flexible range of service pricing plans and purchase just what they need.

 Unlike the currently available web conferencing services that are often offered as a component within a larger Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) package, Online Meeting offers a large set of default features such as desktop, application and document sharing, group chat, presenter control passing, recording, and integrated content management. In addition, the solution integrates complete audio platform for secure dial-out from the audio bridge and full control of the audio conference from the integrated roster.

ConferencePlus has long been recognized for providing high quality audio conferencing services that are integrated with web conferencing services from major providers, including Cisco (News - Alert), Microsoft, and IBM. We determined the time was right to offer our own web conferencing platform, leveraging many of the lessons learned from our customers about what they need and what they don't need in a web collaboration service,” president and CEO of Conference Plus Tim Reedy explained in a statement.

Online Meeting is integrated with Microsoft Outlook and with ConferencePlus' suite of powerful conferencing management tools, My Account Dashboard, View Plus and Share Portal. These tools provide a seamless user experience for arranging and managing conference calls and related conference recordings and content.

In the poress release Conference Plus announced that current Online Meeting service plans include monthly and annual flat rates with unlimited web conferencing for 75 or 150 participants. A multimedia per minute pricing option is also available.

Conference Plus recently announced collaboration with GE Healthcare to educate physicians on the benefits of Vscan(TM), through a series of webcasts. ConferencePlus will be responsible for facilitation and management of these live events.
