FuzeBox Debuts its Telepresence Product Fuze Telepresence Connect

FuzeBox, specializing in cross-platform visual collaboration, announced the launch of Fuze Telepresence (News - Alert) Connect, its Telepresence product.

Jeff Cavins, CEO of FuzeBox said in a release, “We’re bringing down the barriers in business collaboration. The telepresence industry has thrived with proprietary multi-million dollar systems, which do not scale economically, and are unusable for most everyone other than executive staff.”

“The telepresence landscape changes, and for the first time, organizations can fully realize the ROI from their existing telepresence systems, by enabling sales and operations teams to have video telepresence meetings with partners, suppliers and remote teams utilizing virtually any mobile tablet, MAC or PC,” Cavins added.

Fuze Telepresence Connect can seamlessly integrate telepresence systems such as Polycom, Tandberg and LifeSize (News - Alert). It can also extend video conferencing and voice to any mobile device or computer via Fuze Meeting, its Web conferencing and video conferencing collaboration platform.

It was revealed that Fuze Telepresence Connect serves as a telepresence gateway for H.323, SIP and H.264 that links high end telepresence systems to a personal device like iPad, Android (News - Alert) and Honeycomb tablets, and also PCs and Macs.

Companies can employ Fuze Telepresence Connect on FuzeBox Cloud to extend their expensive fixed site telepresence systems to all of their employees. Besides cutting costs Fuze Telepresence Connect enhances the productivity of the mobile workforce as it leverages the fixed location conferencing systems across both fixed and mobile employees optimally, explained FuzeBox officials.

According to company sources Fuze Telepresence Connect conducts video meetings making it simple and intuitive besides also connecting enterprise users face-to-face on any high end telepresence screen. It also provides a full suite of collaboration tools to users.

The integration of telepresence into FuzeBox’s immersive Fuze Meeting SaaS (News - Alert) suite, gives access to simultaneous real-time collaboration tools enabling an intuitive user interface for all personal devices.

Recently TMCnet reported the launch of the newest version of Fuze Meeting, a multi-party HD video conferencing product by FuzeBox. The solution supports Android Honeycomb and iPad 2 tablets, besides Macs and PCs.
