Rapid Software Unveils Web Conferencing and Video E-mail for Small Business

Recent studies indicate that the majority of enterprises are adopting video conferencing solutions worldwide. To enable small businesses leverage the benefits of the technology, Rapid Software is offering Web conferencing and video e-mail services to small businesses.

Rapid Software sells and supports independence and enterprise tools that facilitate fast application development and integration for companies in sectors like commercial airlines, high-tech, human resources, and e-commerce among others.

The company now offers Web conferencing from WowWe  for less than $20 per month. This price, according to company officials, is less than half the price of leading video conferencing competitors, such as WebEx and GoToMeeting.

With Web conferencing and video e-mail service, small businesses will be able to not only reduce travel costs but also improve efficiency of their businesses.

While using Web conferencing to save money on travel costs provides a measurable return on investment, that may not be the most important bottom line contribution, according to Rapid Software officials.

The service makes it possible for nearly any business to upgrade its marketing, sales and customer service processes with the business-building power of video. The package includes unlimited video e-mail at no additional cost. The service is available as a stand-alone service, also at no charge.

WowWe Web conferencing service can include up to 50 participants. It can exchange feeds from as many as 10 Webcams. There is no software to install. Conference participants can also assume the role of presenters. The most important highlight of the service is the high definition (HD)-quality video.

Lee Fox, CEO of Rapid Software, said, “This is a world class enterprise delivery platform for Web conferencing, combined with a very disruptive pricing model. We use it in our own business, and our sales team loves it.”

According to Fox, WowWe’s simplicity, flexibility, speed, visual clarity and high reliability make it the best way for a small business to start using video conferencing right now.

WowWe services give business owners endless opportunities to deliver functions like press conferences, sales presentations, remote training, product demonstrations, collaborative design and many more.

“There are some compelling benefits gained by using video conferencing for virtual collaboration among employees, and from ‘face-to-face’ communication with clients and business partners,” Fox said. “It may be harder to measure those gains, but they are far more substantial than savings on travel costs.”In November last year, WowWe announced the launch of WowWe’s Enterprise Solutions package that gives businesses the ultimate tool for accomplishing their marketing and communication goals by unlocking the unparalleled power of video.
