Aberdeen and Anaplan Offer Webinar on How to Achieve Data-Driven Sales

San Francisco, CA, Feb 26, 2013 ( via COMTEX) -- Anaplan, a provider of cloud modeling and planning solutions for sales, operations and finance, is teaming with McAfee to offer a webinar on Wednesday, February 27. The session will educate sales and finance executives and operations managers on how to use sales planning technology to drive higher sales performance.

Bryan Bayless, Vice President, GTM Finance at McAfee, Peter Ostrow, Vice President & Group Director, Customer Management, Sales Effectiveness Research Leader at Aberdeen Group, and Matt Howard, Vice President of Marketing at Anaplan, will share with attendees how Best-in-Class organizations use cloud-based technologies to optimize their territories and plan quotas, calculate commissions accurately, and improve their sales force efforts. Interested parties can register to attend here.

"Companies using quota planning solutions outperform non-users on a year-over-year basis across a large number of metrics," said Peter Ostrow, Sales Effectiveness Research Leader at Aberdeen Group. "This includes the percentage of all team attainment of quota, lead conversion rate, and the reduction in both sales time-to-productivity and average sales cycle." Customers like McAfee, Pandora, Jive, and HealthTrust use Anaplan to easily create models for planning and decision-making across the enterprise. As the winner of a Gartner Cool Vendor Award in 2012, Anaplan has already been recognized for its innovative cloud software and its role in reshaping how business users within large enterprises can model and plan their businesses.

"Anaplan understands the needs of executives who are being asked to drive better results without increased budgets or resources," said Matt Howard, Vice President of Marketing at Anaplan. "Whether goals are to improve margins or grow the top-line, our cloud-based planning applications provide more effective and efficient territory, quota, and incentive alignment, leading to better results."
