Cloudant to Host Developer Webinar With Imagine Easy Solutions

Hosted in partnership with Imagine Easy Solutions, the webinar will showcase how the company uses Cloudant's NoSQL DBaaS at the core of, and how the site has been designed to support upwards of 40 million users a year and scale to cope with demand.

Somashekar will discuss the application and database design decisions the company made to scale in the cloud using Cloudant's DBaaS on Rackspace hosting services. In addition, he will provide an overview of and the architecture it uses, discuss the challenges the company faces trying to scale the site to support millions of users, the pressures of managing its own database, and the benefits that DBaaS offers.
