AccessData to Host Legal Webinars

Feb 15, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- AccessData, a provider of digital investigations and litigation support solutions, announced that the company will be hosting a number of webinars to share current topics with members of the legal industry in the coming weeks.

According to a release, the company is presenting four webinars on the topic of "Many Problems, One Solution: AD eDiscovery 4.0" which will take place Feb. 15, March 7, March 28 and April 18. These webinars will give attendees a look at AD eDiscovery 4.0 - a complete platform for search, collection, systemized litigation hold, processing, data assessment and legal review (with fully integrated AD Summation) - and will show how it can help in every issue from collection to production. Registration for these events is available at accessdata.com/webinars/.

On Feb. 21, AccessData is partnering with Arkfeld and Associates and the Law CLE Center to present "What Lawyers Should Know about Computer Forensics," a 90-minute webinar featuring Michael Arkfeld and Joshua Gilliland of Majority Opinion in an overview of digital sciences focused on preservation, recovery and analysis of electronically stored information. This CLE accredited presentation is the last of a three-part series focusing on the law, tools and protocols that successfully implement a legal hold. Registration for this webinar is available at the Law CLE Center.

On Feb. 28, AccessData is teaming up with Apersee.com on the webinar, "What Every Legal Department Needs to Know about Litigation Hold." The presentation will feature Marcel Duhamel, partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease; Danielle Moskop, litigation hold manager at Ameren; and George Socha of Apersee in a discussion moderated by Tom Gelbmann of Apersee and hosted by Eric Killough, product marketing manager at AccessData. The seminar will focus on the interplay of the legal hold process and preservation requirements with the panel providing insight and recommendations for the successful implementation of a litigation hold program that complements any e-discovery strategy.

"We are excited about the opportunity to partner with thought leaders like Apersee.com and Michael Arkfeld to deliver topics that provide valuable information to the legal industry," states Caitlin Murphy, Esq., director of Legal Marketing for AccessData. "We are also pleased to offer the AD eDiscovery webinar series. We know that the legal industry faces challenges over the explosion of data in the past two decades. AD eDiscovery offers a solution to that problem with one platform for preservation, collection, processing, assessment, review and production. We are looking forward to showing it to our audience."
