Incisive Launches New Spreadsheet Risk Webinar Series

SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Incisive, a developer of enterprise-class spreadsheet analysis and management solutions, today launched a new introductory webinar series on the topic of spreadsheet risk. The free series consists of three individual webinars to educate spreadsheet users of all levels, starting with a simple educational overview of identifying errors and risks in spreadsheets, then moving to the importance of discovery and risk assessment and ending with an overview of three phases for those looking to implement a formal spreadsheet risk management program. The series will repeat every other month in 2013.

"People love their spreadsheets, but without discovery, assessment and management, they can pose serious risks to the organization," said Jill Dopp, Director of Marketing for Incisive. "Education is key to keep spreadsheet information accurate and implement effective spreadsheet risk management programs. These webinars can help anyone dealing with spreadsheet risk; including verifying your own information, reviewing others' spreadsheets or managing spreadsheet risk processes for a large organization."

The Spreadsheet Risk webinar is designed for those responsible for reviewing and verifying the integrity of their own spreadsheets or those within an organizaion. Participants will learn how to quickly identify errors and risks and explain them to management or peers in order to provide visibility into the information.

The Spreadsheet Discovery and Risk Assessment webinar explains why these two phases must take place to truly improve spreadsheet risk management processes.

Participants will learn the steps involved in spreadsheet discovery and risk assessment, how these phases impact overall spreadsheet risk management and how technology can help provide fast, yet trustworthy results.

Finally, the Crash Course webinar is for executives and managers seeking an overview of spreadsheet risk in order to begin implementing a formal spreadsheet risk management program. Participants will learn about the 3 phases of spreadsheet risk, the steps involved in each phase and their importance to an effective spreadsheet risk management program.
