New Mexico Software becomes Net Medical Xpress Solutions

Dec 28, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- New Mexico Software, Inc., (OTCBB: NMXC) said it is changing its name effective on January 1, 2013 to Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc.

CEO and president, Dick Govatski, said, "I'm proud to announce we have officially changed our name to Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc. Our new company name, which we have been using as a d/b/a for the past year, better reflects what we do and who we are as a premier provider of medical services and support on the Internet.

"While many companies are engaged in telemedicine, we are among the very few companies in the US specializing in emergency room telemedicine for neurological, cardio and behavior medicine needs. Our on-staff physicians assist ER personnel in determining treatment for severe and immediate urgent medical problems through our proprietary video conferencing hardware and software. Our software includes report generators and other features, which facilitate the expeditious delivery of medical consultative services." The name change does not affect the company's outstanding common stock. When certificates are surrendered for any purpose, replacement certificates will have the new name. The company plans to apply for a change in its trading symbol concurrently with FINRA's market announcement of the name change, which is consistent with the company's two other components of its suite of telemedical services, Net Medical Specialists and Net Medical Diagnostic Services.

Net Medical Xpress' Telemedicine programs provide diagnostic and clinical medical services to mobile companies, urgent cares, hospitals, trauma centers, imaging centers, jails, nursing homes, corporate health departments, and out patient medical facilities. The company's proprietary, web-based XR-Express 510K FDA cleared PACS is Net Medical Xpress foundation software, which enables medical providers to make real-time assessments of patients' conditions and treatment needs.
