Insurance Marketing and Advertising Summit Online Series Begins Friday, December 7, on Innovation

OLDWICK, N.J. --(Business Wire)--

Best's Review magazine's 2012 Insurance Marketing and Advertising Summit, which was interrupted by Hurricane Sandy, continues Friday, December 7, with the first of a series of online webinar-and-streaming-video "lunchcasts." Friday's session begins at 12 noon EST and will run one hour.

Ty R. Sagalow, President, Innovation Insurance Group, and Matthew Power, Chief Innovation and Strategic Relationship Officer, AIG, will present on "Innovators on Innovation: Creating Breakthrough Insurance Products, Services and Delivery." The pair will discuss how they use market intelligence, data, internal expertise and creativity to help support new ideas and initiatives. They will also emphasize how to generate organizational suport, harness distribution and build marketing into the mix at the earliest stages.

All presentations will stream live and will be reported in A.M. Best's news venues and in Best's Review magazine. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit comments and questions. There is no charge to attend these online events.

The Insurance Marketing and Advertising Summit has run for seven years. It examines how insurers, brokers, agents, reinsurers and others are finding new ways to communicate and brand themselves in today's fast-changing business environment.

The series will continue on Friday, December 14, at 12 noon EST with Richard Augustyn, Founder and CEO, NIP Group on "Profiting from Niches: Identifying and Pursuing Program Opportunities with Limited Resources." The series will then resume in January 2013.
