Exterity Appoints AV Specialist JB&A as Distributor for USA

ATLANTA --(Business Wire)--

Exterity, the leading provider of IPTV (News - Alert) communication solutions today announces JB&A - the well-established US distributor with a focus on Streaming IP Video, Digital Signage and Professional AV - has been appointed as North American distributor, a move to actively support the expanding Exterity StreamForce reseller programme.

US installations of Exterity enterprise IPTV solutions have been steadily growing over the past few years, customers now include global investment management house BlackRock in New York and National Public Radio (NPR (News - Alert)) in Washington DC. The appointment of JB&A is an important milestone in the development of the company's US business expansion. Acquiring a value-added distributor in the region to effectively support Exterity resellers reinforces the commitment Exterity has made to its channel and StreamForce partners across North America and Canada.

Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity, said, "As experts in helping channel partners and vendors deliver solutions to the US market, bringing JB&A on board follows our successful formula of appointing a specialist distributor in each region to help fortify our position and drive revenue. We're committed to selling through the channel and know that this partnership will help us build on our existing successes and achieve the growth we want in the US."

JB&A will distribute the complete portfolio of Exterity IPTV products - which uniquely includes the widest range of TV gateways on the market to capture and stream live broadcast across IP networks - complimented with project and product consultation, product training and workflow design assistance services to help resellers reach their sales goals.

"We're delighted to be working with Exterity at this important time in their US operations," said Jeff Burgess, JB&A CEO. "Exterity solutions are among the best on the market and we're confident in our abilities to expertly support their StreamForce partners with agile access to products, and the insight they may need to realize significant new business opportunities."

The Exterity StreamForce Partner Program, which was introduced in 2010 and now includes over 100 partners, is designed to enable systems integrators and value-added resellers to take advantage of the continued growth in demand for managed IPTV delivery. The program is specifically designed to assist Exterity channel partners in the deployment of IPTV systems, increase sales and deliver expert service support.
