Trillium Software Presenting Big Data's Impact On Customer Loyalty At Loyalty World

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 05 November 2012 Release date- 02112012 - READING, UK - Trillium Software, a business of Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE:HHS) and a leading provider of Total Data Quality solutions, today announced that Nigel Turner, vice president of information strategy at Trillium Software, will present at Loyalty World, which runs on 5-6 November 2012 in London.

Turner's presentation will cover how the exploitation of Big Data can help grow customer loyalty and outline some of the key pitfalls to avoid. He will also suggest some important steps to ensure success. In a recent webinar titled 'Big Data and the Data Quality Imperative,' Turner outlined how Big Data is reliant on a solid data quality foundation, highlighting what businesses need to do now to prevent poor data from derailing their Big Data plans.

'Social Networking sites and other Big Data sources are a potential goldmine for generating and reinforcing customer loyalty since they enrich existing CRM and marketing data to deliver greater insight into customer preferences and attitudes,' said Turner. 'But businesses attempting to exploit big data without considering data quality run the risk of undermining customer loyalty and damaging relationships.' A report by the UK-based centre for Economics and Business Research claims that Big Data will contribute an additional GBP216 billion to the UK economy over the next five years. It is also expected to generate 58,000 new jobs in the UK, not just through data science but more widely through the new revenues it will generate.

According to Terrapinn, the conference organiser, attendees will join more than 400 senior marketers from the world's biggest brands at the 10th Annual Loyalty World. Delegates will learn how the world's most innovative brands have identified their most valuable customers, maximised all customer engagement channels and created a truly customer centric organisation.
