Brand Identity Design Webinar Course Created by Homeschooling Mom to Help Families Overcome Financial Hardship
Colorado Springs, CO, Apr 03, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
An extensive brand identity webinar course will be launched on Apr. 10 by graphic artist Dana Susan Beasley to help aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners learn how to position their brands more effectively to make money online and achieve economic freedom.
When the economy crashed in 2008, financial disaster nearly destroyed Mrs. Beasley and her family. Their vacation rental business failed, their rental property foreclosed, and they faced a mountain of debt as a result. Her husband's employer cut back his hours and paychecks were delayed frequently. Staying in their own house and maintaining it seemed impossible as they fell behind in their mortgage payments.
A homeschooling mother to a child with Aspergers, Mrs. Beasley decided to do something positive about it and help others in the process learn how to make money online.
She realized that as a graphic designer of over 17 years that she had important knowledge to share with others experiencing financial hardship. Recognizing that the Internet held incredible opportunities, she learned everything she could about online marketing and built her own brand, AngelArts, a graphic design agency and online publishing house.
She then wrote her extensive online tutorial course, Brand Identity Quest, and developed it into a 7-week webinar workshop, starting Apr. 10 and ending May 24.
This course teaches basic graphic logo design skills to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners, Mrs. Beasley says. She encourages her students to discover their passions, identify their target markets, and create unique brand images that reflect the essence of who they are and what they do. It is an extensive course that includes live tutorials, graphic design teaching, strategic brand planning, thorough analysis, slogan writing, brand name best practices, Internet marketing principles such as keyword research, and more.
She enjoys blogging about her experiences at Brand Identity Mentor and offers several free educational resources, including audios, videos, and reports.
Even if her students decide to hire a graphic designer in the future, they will be better equipped to make an effective brand that gets noticed, she says. This will save them much time, frustration, and money in the long run. A serious brand will get them serious attention so her students can start and run successful businesses that will support their families in these hard economic times.
"I am passionate about helping people create secure futures for themselves by teaching them how to build effective brand images that get noticed," says Mrs. Beasley.
Excellence is of utmost importance to Mrs. Beasley and accordingly she has distinguished herself repeatedly as a graphic designer. In 2007, she was the logo contest winner for the Colorado Balloon Classic and took her company, AngelArts, to new heights as her prize was riding in a hot air balloon. Over the last six months, she has been featured in several online podcasts, blogs, and radio shows as she has sought to share her story and encourage others who are experiencing financial difficulties.
As a former graphic designer for The Navigators from 1993 to 1998, an international, interdenominational Christian organization, Mrs. Beasley designed logos, brochures, newsletters, presentations, magazines, and more. Through working with clients in both her job and as a freelance designer, Mrs. Beasley realized that business owners needed education when it came to the process of design.
In 2010, she re-birthed this idea as a teacher to high school students at Artios Academies, a homeschooling enrichment program that ran in Monument, Colorado. Then she further developed it into an extensive course for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Giving back to the community is important to Mrs. Beasley. She will be donating five of her online tutorial courses for an auction on Apr. 28 to benefit Partners in Housing, a local organization that helps the homeless achieve self-sufficiency.
In February, she released her new book on Amazon, "Do-It-Yourself Vacation Rental Branding" with long-time business partner, Deborah S. Nelson.
Her faith in Jesus Christ is her source of wisdom, strength, and creative ideas as day by day she juggles her responsibilities as entrepreneur, wife, and homeschooling mother to a special needs child.
